Women’s Saber

Members of PVFA Competition Squads will receive a discount on their next month's PVFA membership equal to the registration fee (up to $20 per person) paid for one competition attended during the previous month.

Each squad will comprise of 3 fencers from the same weapon and gender. Individuals can be members of more than one squad at the same time. Members of a squad must compete together at least once per month. Squad members can compete in individual or team events. All members of the squad must attend, compete in, and complete a competition in order for the members to be reimbursed. A black card for anyone on the squad will result in ineligibility for the membership discount for the whole squad.

Only one squad per weapon and gender can exist at a time. Hopeful fencers can challenge an existing team at any time. Best 5 out of 9 wins.

Squad members must be PVFA members in good standing, having paid their monthly dues, at the time of the competition for which they seek their next month's discount. The squad must request the discount by email within one week of the competition in order to receive it. The date, location, event, and registration fee must be included in this email. Squad members must own and use their own equipment in competitions.
